40 Days of Focus Leadership Spiritual Growth

Week 3: 40 Days of Focus

September 26, 2016

Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it. I hope the test won’t show that we have failed. But if it comes to that, we’d rather the test showed our failure than yours. We’re rooting for the truth to win out in you. We couldn’t possibly do otherwise.

2 Corinthians 13:5-8 MSG

What we care deeply about should be reflected in our daily actions. To this end we turn our focus towards discovering and clarifying our passions. Said another way, passion begins the process of helping us discover why we do what we do. To help in this journey I included for you a Passion Inventory (Click Here). This questionnaire is intended to ask the tough questions that will help you see the bigger picture.

To further aid you in discovering your unique passions I encourage to get the Strengths Finder book and assessment. This book (the assessment is included with the purchase of the book) will come with a unique access code that allows you to complete an online questionnaire. Once complete, you will receive a follow up document that explains the 5 major themes of your life. These 5 themes will help bring clarity to your patterns and help you understand what drives you. To help you make sense of your themes I am making myself available. Just email your results along with any questions you have to I will be sure to work through the themes with you so that you can move forward with great understanding.

I pray that these 40 days have been helpful to you so far and my hope is that things will continue to work together for your best.
